Everyone should get outdoors whenever possible, and Vasona Park is an excellent way to do that. Vasona Lake County Park is 152 acres of beautiful landscapes and lots of things to see and do. This will be their 17th year of bringing folks free concerts in June and July. It is a nine-week joint event with South Bay and the Santa Clara County Parks and takes place each Saturday. Local artists perform a variety of genres, from big band to contemporary folk music. Food vendors are on-site; all you need to do is bring a blanket and a chair. Other activities in the park include:

•   Ball playing areas
•   Picnic areas
•   Youth Science Center
•   Hiking
•   Running

Los Gatos Café

This little café is only open until 3 PM, mainly for breakfast and lunch. It is highly rated and serves up so delicious, home-cooked food. One of their specialties is a souffle omelet, which is totally unique and scrumptious. They also have gluten-free options. You will find lots of unique menu choices such as:

•   Crab & avocado omelets
•   Massive cinnamon rolls
•   Crab & shrimp benedict
•   Steak fajita omelet

You have to bring cash or a check; they do not take credit cards. 

NUMU – New Museum Los Gatos

Local artists and an abundance of exhibits are what you will find here. During the current restrictions, you can schedule a tour. You can enjoy a virtual tour of what the museum has to offer. Current and upcoming exhibits include Art in the Time of Corona, In The Artist’s Studio, ArtNow 2021.
